My proudest sewing moment was when I presented my Andean Roots collection. Participating in that event was a dream come true, but also a profound challenge: I wanted to honor my cultural heritage while also demonstrating that haute couture can also be born from our mountains, fabrics, and traditions.

Each design was crafted with details inspired by Andean iconography, hand-embroidered, and traditional fabrics reinterpreted with a modern vision. Seeing the collection on the runway, hearing the applause, and, above all, seeing how people connected emotionally with each piece was the moment I felt I had taken a major step in my career.

Raíces Andinas wasn't just a collection: it was a message, an affirmation of identity, and my breakthrough in haute couture.

Original: Mi momento de costura más orgulloso fue cuando presenté mi colección Raíces Andinas. Participar en ese evento fue un sueño cumplido, pero también un desafío profundo: quería honrar mi herencia cultural y al mismo tiempo demostrar que la alta costura también puede nacer de nuestras montañas, tejidos y tradiciones.

Cada diseño fue elaborado con detalles inspirados en la iconografía andina, bordados a mano, telas tradicionales reinterpretadas con una visión moderna. Ver la colección en pasarela, escuchar los aplausos y, sobre todo, ver cómo las personas se conectaban emocionalmente con cada prenda, fue el momento en el que sentí que había dado un gran paso en mi carrera.

Raíces Andinas no solo fue una colección: fue un mensaje, una afirmación de identidad, y mi gran avance en la alta costura.
