FULL COURSE FROM START TO FINISH

Corset with Drapery

Haute Couture Technique for Wedding & Evening Dresses
Sewing Pattern Included

Elegant drapery is one of the most expressive design elements in haute couture corsetry — but only when it is built on a strong, perfectly calculated base.
In this course, you will learn a simplified yet professional technique for sewing a corset where the entire front is formed by sculptural drapery rather than traditional face panels.

This method allows you to achieve a luxurious, embossed look while keeping the corset lightweight, comfortable, and perfectly fitted — even for complex body types.

What Makes This Corset Special

This corset is constructed using a hard synthetic corset mesh as the base, combined with a chiffon lining for comfort against the skin.
The back is divided into four sections, creating additional princess seams that make pattern alterations faster and more precise.

Instead of a classic corset face with visible cups, the front is entirely covered with drapery that flows smoothly from the cups toward the back — creating a refined, couture-level silhouette.
